Alessandro·Scarlantti is a well-known Italian composer in the middle and late Baroque period,the founder of Naples Opera Music and one of the founders of Opera 'Belcanto'.He is the most important and prolific composer in the period of the form of Italian opera gradually falling into a pattern.Scarlatti made a great contribution to the creation of the classical Italian art songs.In his life,Scarlatti's creation mainly focused on vocal music works which had rich and varied genre.He was listed first among the opera composers of his age for creating 115 operas in all. The subjects of his operas were mainly from the life comedy or historical legend. Three hundred years have passed,but the charm of Scarlatti's vocal works did not fade away with the passage of time and his works are still masterpieces among the vocal music works,and still,as many singers' performing repertoire,his works often reverberated in the world music stage.Scarlatti's vocal music works have had a profound influence on the later vocal music creativity.The techniques of composition and the philosophy of music humanities created by Scarlatti have the historical significance and the value of academic research.The idea and emotion reflected in Scarlatti' vocal works mostly represent people's inner and spiritual world in real life.On one hand,he inherited the tradition of opera in Venice;on the other hand,he developed the music style at that time.Scarlatti paid more attention to the magnificence of music and external effects.His creative form was also gradually falling into a pattern.His works that reflect the evolution of Naples opera are representatives of vocal music creation having inheritance and development, which formed by the composer applying the older generation's techniques of vocal music creation into his own works and the changing and developing creative consciousness at that time.From the overall style,Scarlatti's works not only have the characteristics of Baroque period:elegance in luxury and well-organized structure,but also breed the spirit of classical humanism,which fully demonstrates his aesthetic tastes on music.So his works are classics in Baroque period.
