In the recent development of drawing art,artistic individuality in representation was emphasized more and more frequently.The individuality should be,at first,character shown by vision form,which can reach deeply in our spirit world,bring edification and convulsion,and spiritual sympathize.Second,it should be character of representation, including basic skill and technique,treating of tone and color,and strength,size and thickness of brushwork.But,artistic individuality is a long-term process,which cannot be finished in one day.It is external expression of artists' inner quality.It is also a result of lifelong efforts.Because those language of artistic individuality is based on many complex factors,it is very important in the interpretation of an art work to respect the environment which one art work created,to cast back the origin of the representation,to comprehend the form and content of representation,and to find out the mind condition of the artist in creating process.In this thesis,I tried to state,by analysis of the works and creation experiences of Claude Monet,Auguste Rodin,Paul Cezanne,Vincent Van Gogh,Edward Monk,Henri Matisse and other art masters,that we can always experience the profound artistic thoughts and the unique sensibility world of the masters,become aware of their artistic ideality and enthusiasm in given environment,and thus catch on their unique artistic individuality.And It is just this comprehension will be base of our invention,headspring of inspiration,and will bring new life forces to the representation form of the contemporary art.
