Ma Yi fu is a famous scholar in the 20th century of China's ideological and cultural history. As like as the other contemporary New-Confucianism, the mentality of Ma Yifu has experienced a conversion ,from radical to conservative, and from western to traditional. Ma Yifu was influenced by traditional customs in his childhood. When he was young, he was full of enthusiasm. He went to western and studied western knowledge. Two years later, he found that the knowledge of western has many malpractices, and then, he studied traditional once again. At last he researched in Confucianism for ever. The theory of "Liuyi" is the most important ideas of Ma Yifu. It represents his complete and systematic ideas,which include "theory of Liuyi perturbation all the academic","theory of Liuyi integrate the whole heart", and "theory of Liuyi mutual integrate". Ma Yi fu made great efforts to explore and promote traditional Confucian values,to wake the people's confidence in the traditional culture. The theory of"Liuyi"will have a guiding meaning when we think about the traditional Confucian's modem values and development.
