Kant's moral philosophy, as an important part of his whole system, has the characteristics of metaphysics. And this protects the moral purity, but also become the reason that a lot of scholars criticize Kant. They said that Kant's moral philosophy is only a moral preaching, it can't guide the moral action, and it can't be used as criteria of evaluation of moral actions. Through comprehensive analysis of the categorical imperative, this paper attempts to prove that Kant's moral philosophy not only is metaphysical (which is to protect the moral purity), but also can guide the moral action, and it can judge whether the action is moral or not. But such guidance and judgment are rather internal than external, they are the subject (person)'s own inner guidance and evaluation. This precisely reflects the people's noble values and great dignity.
