The unique tiger shoes is one of the first approved Intangible Cultural Heritage in Yancheng in Jiangsu Province.Undering many times of field research to finish the work,I find there are six steps to product the tiger shoe.The are making shadings,making soles,making uppers, embroidering tiger faces,stringing tiger beards and assembling uppers..I use many pictures related to do the records in detail.The same with various regions of tiger shoes, It has life function, aesthetic function, and cultural function.In addition, under the influence of factors about economic, cultural, technological, geographical, Yancheng tiger shoes also formed its own unique characteristics: neat, the beautiful style, a variety of decorative themes (magnificent tiger, the auspicious pattern), colorful decorations. On this basis, Board Wenguang Yandu Yancheng as the project management units of tiger shoes, has taken a number of protective measures, but in the contemporary social situation, Yancheng tiger shoes as the first intangible cultural heritage in Jiangsu Province, can not be optimistic about the living conditions.This article is to point out the problem about the conservation and the development of tiger shoes,and also to propose a solution for its prospects.
