The book"Lv Shi Chun Qiu" was presided by the prime minister Lv Buwei of the Qin Dynasty and written by his guests based on the previous ideologies. Lv Buwei desired the book to be the program of the Qin Dynasty; Because "Lv Shi Chun Qiu" was written by many people with complex content and thought, it is regarded as a master piece of various things in《Record of Art and Culture, History of Han Shu》". "Lv Shi Chun Qiu", which is tense-structured with diverse styles and a strong literary color, has an important place in the history of Chinese literature .Because of its strong political and practical value, many scholars focus on its political, ideological, philosophical, historical and musical respects, paying little attention to its literary aspect. Therefore, in view of the current research, this thesis is mainly focused on its literary aspect, analyzing it from the following seven chapters respectively.This thesis is divided into seven chapters.Chapter One is about people's attitude towards the book "Lv Shi Chun Qiu" in different times since the book was written, and mainly focuses on the reason of its being regarded as an important work and the research achievements in the period from Qin Dynasty to today. Chapter Two is about how "Lv Shi Chun Qiu" was written. It gives a brief introduction of the role Lu Buwei played in the writing course of the book, and analyses who the probable writers may be.Chapter Three relates the features of its structure."Lv Shi Chun Qiu"is based on the harmony between heaven and earth as its political thoughts, composed of Twelve Ji, each Ji five passages; Eight Lan, each Lan eight passages; six Lun, each Lun six passages; which makes great influence on the later generations. This chapter also analyzes the relation between"The Classic of Rites and the Twelve Ji"in"Lv Shi Chun Qiu". Chapter Four is concerned with the language of"Lv Shi Chun Qiu". This thesis will study it from the perspective of philology, analyzing the use of language in the whole article to prove its credibility.Chapter Five studies the characteristics of the discourse of"Lv Shi Chun Qiu"focusing on theus of imagery and analogy in the book. This method, originating from"Kuei Ku-tzu'was mostly adopted by the scholars of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period."Lv Shi Chun Qiu"makes better use of this method to reason, based on the absorption and succession of the previous schools, enhancing the reasoning effect with a strong literary color.Chaper six comments the literature and art of thoughts in Lv Shi Chun Qiu. First,"Zhong He"beauty is an important art appreciation; Second,"Yan and Yi"has a direct effect for reality.Chapter Seven relates the achievements and influences of the fables in"Lv Shi Chun Qiu", mainly analyzing the instances and characters in the fables to detect its meaning and aesthetic orientation. The author spent a great deal of ink on extolling the wise kings and officials, which reflects the author's political ideals. It can be seen that Lv Buwei highly recommended Confucian thought from the fact that Confucius is the most frequently mentioned and extolled character.The Completion of "Lv Shi Chun Qiu" is a milestone of the culture prosperity of the Qin Dynasty. "Lv Shi Chun Qiu" was known as a great masterpiece with far-reaching significance at that time, containing more than 200,000 words. But there are not many researches on it from the perspective of its literary character. This thesis emphasizes the literary character of"Lv Shi Chun Qiu".
