Popular Literature In The Context Of The Mother Image Of Dynasty

Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty's popular literature created a lot of mothers. In this paper, these mothers had a general concern, and the image of some typical had a focus of analysis. The purpose of this is to understand the mother's ethics and responsibilities of expectations in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty.The first chapter has four sections, the first one is the general concern, and the other three sections is the analysis to focus on positive image of the mother, negative image of the mother and neutral image of the mother.The second chapter has four sections, also. The first sections points out there characteristics of the mother's creation in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty. That is, firstly, the mother usually is created as a supporting role. Secondly, the leading mother usually is created in drama. Thirdly, in the early mother's creation, positive character is majority. And in the later period, negative image of the mother and neutral image of the mother gradually increased. The next three sections make a research for three characteristics, one by one. The mother's social status and responsibilities of expectations, in feudalistic society, make mother as a lead impossible. The reason which drama, especially, the Yuan Za Ju has more leading mother, is the female lead form in Yuan Za Ju and the opening Social Thought in Yuan dynasty. Yuan Za Ju which is created by Ru Sheng has a strong atmosphere of Ru Xue, which is important reason for positive image of the mother in early period. Since the mid-to-Ming, with the progress of the social though, the birth of the realistic novel and the change of literature, the mother began to return to the image of the reality of life. The large number of creation, which is negative image of the mother and neutral image of the mother that transcend good and evil, is a reasonable thing.
