Confucius is the most important ancient Chinese thinker, educator and politician. About his image-researching works and thesises are extremely rich. And under normal circumstances, such thesises focus on the specific image of Confucius analysis. Different from this, this paper will research from the religious thought of Confucius, and analyse its moral practice, as well as its concrete embodiment of moral practice, in order to highlight the image of Confucius.The first chapter of my thesis will begin to analyse the relationship between Nature and Man of Confucius, and find that the relationship between Nature and Man is the premise and guidance of Confucius's moral practice. Relationship between Nature and Man that is the religious thought of Confucius, mainly refers to Confucius's views to heaven, life and the spirits. Through the understanding and reflection to these "transcendent factors", Confucius incorporate them into his "benevolence" theory, thus become the premise and guidance of Confucius's moral practice.The second chapter provides an analysis of Confucius's moral practice, that is Confucius's practice in society relations. Confucius's moral practice in the social relations bases on "benevolence" as the core, and the practise of "Gentlemen" personality is the specific methods of operation. Therefore, this chapter will analysis the specific practice of Confucius's Gentleman personality.What people admire Confucius very much is his courage as a person . He "can not but keep on it". He did not escape and retreat in the confusion of society, but positively to change the disorderly society. His practice is not radical, but under the recognization and reflection of the traditional culture . It is conservative. Therefore his reform is doomed to fail. Although he knew his theory did not work, he still unremitting efforted. And created the "benevolence" theory. We have to say that he is very great!...
