.12-24 Months Baby Mother Care Behavior Classification Study

Family plays a very important role in child socialization in early childhood.As an important caregiver,mother can't be taken the place in the development of infant intelligence,personality and social behavior.The maternal caregiving behaviour classification system(MCBCS) is presented to maternal caregiving behaviour classification system.Participants were 44 mothers and their infants(aged 12to 24 months).As coded by reliable,independent raters,there was a highly significant level of concordance between the 5-ategory caregiver and child classifications in AQS.(1) Cluster analysis indicated that the classification system can classify the mother into five type: Accepted,ignore,control,interference and refused.What's more,the standards of MCBCS were develop and MCBCS indicated good reliability and validity.(2) That's a great difference between MCBCS and Maternal Behaviour Q-sort Manual,the new system can classify insecurity Group into the different group.(3) According to this classification system,that's can be seen that characteristics of the maternal caregiving behaviour emphasis on educational,the purpose of the Interaction with the children is controlling their children.The characteristics of the maternal caregiving behaviour is:Overly concerned about the children, participate in children's games passively,disturb the children play.
