The Founding Of The People's Republic Of China Guzheng Arts Development Review Of The Beijing Area In The Past Six Decades

Guzheng,as an ancient instrument of China,has a long history for two thousand years.Because of the demand and spread in the people of Asia,it can survive indomitably.The article mainly introduces the situation of Guzheng arts development from 1949 to now.In this period,according to the situation of Guzheng arts development in Beijing area,it is divided as four periods.Through consulting, collecting and analyzing large amounts of original materials and combining with relevantly historical background of Guzheng,we think and analyze deeply in the form of composition,instrumental reform,playing techniques,representative musician,and publications of Guzheng.Through introducing this sixty years Guzheng arts development in Beijing area,we can outline the face of modern Guzheng Arts development and hope to play a positive role in future development.This thesis is organized as follows:The first chapter,the initial development of Guzheng Arts in Beijing area, introduces different performance styles of famous Guzheng performers who live in other cities of China,the development of Guzheng education in Beijing area,and the popular styles of Shandong and Henan Guzheng performance in Beijing area.The hardest period of Guzheng arts development is presented in chapter 2,in that time the whole Chinese people are in ages of Cultural Revolution.This chapter includes two sections.The first one reveals the situation of Guzheng arts development during ages of Cultural Revolution.Other one shows the national tunes during that period.In the chapter 3,Guzheng arts enter the developing period and are developed in many aspects such as the form of composition and playing techniques.In the developing period Guzheng performers of the third generation appear,Guzheng Institute is established,and Guzheng textbooks are published in Beijing.Guzheng art has fully entered a developing period of prosperity in the chapter 4. This chapter mainly includes present situation of Guzheng arts development,the reformation of Guzheng Instruments,famous Guzheng performers of the fourth generation,Guzheng conference,Guzheng level test system,and Guzheng textbooks.
