"Life style" colors are important components of urban colors.The creation of "life style" colors can help build a harmonious urban visual environment.Under the background that China Academy of Art and Hangzhou City cooperate in building Zhuantan Town into a nation-grade high-quality art community,this thesis,from the angle of color,pays attention to the current environmental situation and problems of the seat where the art community locates.Taking "life style" colors as the entry point for research,this thesis focuses its research on Zhijiang-Xiangshan Art Community. Through investigation of,sorting out of and analysis on the special color resources in the seat where Zhijiang-Xiangshan Art Community locates,and through cognition of the specialty of the color resources,this thesis attempts to explore idea and methods of creating "life style" colors suitable for the specialty of art community.Beyond that, a demonstrative creation of life and environment colors of typical district is introduced to verify and supplement the research above.This thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter provides an overview of the whole thesis.On the base of introducing the beginning of this research and analyzing the probability of realizing art community,the first chapter explains relevant concepts such as "life style" and color creation and clarifies the significance of color creation to art community.The second chapter discusses on the idea and methods of color creation in Zhijiang-Xiangshan Art Community and taps sources for color creation in the seat where the art community locates through field investigation on natural colors,daily life colors and folk colors.The third chapter is about the practice of "life style" color creation in Zhijiang-Xiangshan Art Community and existing district in the art community is chosen as the demonstrative case for color creation.
