Tu Weiming Confucian Concept Of Cultural Study

Confucian culture played an important role in Chinese philosophy and now there are many studies of Confucianism ,in theory or on the transformation process from traditional Confucianism to modern Confucianism .There are many different ideas appeared in these studies and they promote the diversity of the Confucianism.Du Wei-ming, as one leader of the modern Confucianism, he conducted a detailed study of Confucianism. He thinks about Confucian culture in the context of globalization and this promote the development and communication of Confucian culture . In this paper, I mainly talk about his understanding of Confucianism,and how he viewed the traditional Confucianism, changing of Confucianism and the development of modern Confucianism , and I hope it can be helpful for someone who wants to study Du Wei-ming's Confucianism.
