Jorge Luis Borges is a world-famous writer ,who was born in Argentine. His novels and ideas are full of fantasy, confusion and contradiction. By using the method of Literary Ethics criticism, this paper aims to analyze the contents of his novel and some related ethic issues. The method of Literary Ethics criticism, which has Chinese characteristics, was put forward by Nie Zhenzhao in 2004. It can be used to analyze European and American Literature. It combines ethics with literature and opens a new area of literary analysis in the perspective of ethics. Although in the modern and post-modern literary works, self-centeredness and various techniques were emphasized, this new method still infused new vitality into the interpretation of literary works.Based on Jorge Luis Burges's novel, this paper will start from the ethical perspective and mainly analyze the issues of humanity, politics and death. It will also study his reflections on human nature and feelings and explore his ponder on political and social order in the changing world, thus rising to the sublime level of easiness and aloofness towards the eternal realm—death.
