Poetic Writing. Moonlight

Romanticism is one of the distinguishing features in the novel creation of Chi Zijian. In this paper, the author mainly focuses the attention on the romanticism in the novel creation of Chi Zijian and tries to analyze it from the following four aspects: the embodiment of the sprit of romanticism in the novels of Chi Zijian; the concrete expressions of artistic characteristics and cultural connotations of romanticism; the multiple factors existing in the formation of the romantic writing style in Chi Zijian's works; the advantages and disadvantages of writing in this romantic style. The purpose of this analysis is to show how the romanticism depicted in the novels of Chi Zijian is different from that of others and it is hoped that this romantic way of writing can be brought back to a literary world short of ideal and romanticism though a deep research on the romanticism in the novels of Chi Zijian.
