The Fine brushwork of flower-and—bird painting is one of the unique forms of the Chinese traditional art.It presented the style of neat,meticulous and elegant through its drawing language of line,composition and colors.When times came to Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties,because of the rise of literati paintings and the change of people'S spirit,the Fine brushwork of fower-and—bird painting showed a decline situation and it got worse in the Republic of China.Chen Zhifo,whom good at Decorative art,learned from traditional and all kinds of art forms,had opened a new chapter of Chinese Fine brushwork of flower-and—bird painting,combined Decorative art and decorative painting perfectly.With the opening ofthe country and the continuous development ofour society,people have begun to pursuit art works of purely decoration and the Fine brushwork of flower-and—bird painting has been exploring new decorative language.This paper focus on line,composition and colors of Chen Zhifo'S art works through decorative language in Decorative art and painting.
