Tang Xianzu is a well-known writer in the middle and late Ming, a great person in literary history ,four plays "Linchuan Four Dreams" made him famous in Chinese and foreign drama world. Tang Xianzu is a high-yield writer, his poetry and drama writings is abundant. Classification study of his writings has made great achievements, this article points to compare the two kinds of genres, make comparative research on the basis of the past classification study, not only to seize the 1 his leading literary thought, but also to reveal the characteristics of the two kinds of genres in its creation. The main thesis is divided into three major parts:The first chapter compares the similarities and differences of his poetry and drama in the matter of unification of emotion and zhi. The Poetics of Tang Xianzu inject life spirits of emotion into the traditional Yan zhi Yuan Qing. Those works such as anxiety about country and pity for the people, missing country and relatives, nostalgic for friends and chanting for ambition's not realization, all manifesto the characteristic of unification of emotion and zhi. Although his opera be well-known for "zhi qing", there is no lack of highly initiating of zhi. Highly initiating of Zhi in his opera is mainly embodied in three aspects: political ideal, marriage view, feudal filial.Tang Xianzu's opera and poetry creation, can unify emotion and zhi, but owing to the traditional writers's literature type consciousness, emotion and zhi in the two kinds of genres of literature have different emphases. in poetry, the more situation is that emotion is ruled by zhi, Zhi is produced by emotion, emotion is moved in the heart and embodied with poetry, the feelings expressed are always legitimacy, conform to norms of ru jia. opera has the overall theme which airs emotion, especially the sons and daughters' love which is despised by the traditional writers, the so-called zhi is only a supplement of that big theme. The second chapter compares the similarities and differences of his poetry and drama in the matter of combination of inheritation and creation. Tang Xianzu's poetry learn from the ancients in three main areas: using words in the Chinese classics, language's beauty mood, similarity in style and artistic. However, he can innovate in these areas, so that his works have their own characteristics. "zi chai ji," "mu dan ting" are romantic drama. Its figures settings, the design of the theme and contradictory conflict are from the Yuan Dynasty classic work "The Romance of the Western Chamber" and "qian nv li hun.". Figures in these plays represent Tang Xianzu's view of the utmost emotion, compared to the past similar characters in similar plays are even more of the enormous power of love."nan ke ji" "The Handan Dream" are dramas of gods Road, which are very similar to Ma zhiyuan's "Ma Danyang san du Ren Fengzi" and his co-operation "Handan Road awaring huangliang Dream", Li Shouqing's"monk Yueming du Liu Cui "in the plot. However, Tang's plays express his unique understanding of life : leaving from home is a matter of individual perception, the external forces to interfere in it is very difficult.Through learning works of ancients, absorbing beneficial ingredients is not only necessary but also inevitable. The key is to learn how to make works of the ancients "late for the new", fully reflect the originality, eventually reached a new level, rather than imitate in a simple copy. Tang Xianzu's poetry and opera creation can be said to be successful express this point. The third chapter compares the similarities and differences of his poetry and drama in the matter of stimulant between scenes and emotion. Tang Xianzu is an aesthetic pursuit, his poetry and opera have more scenes blent with emotion. And the relationship between the scene and emotion in his poetry can be called "emotion in scene ", that is,objective description of the scene is the main features, subjective feelings infiltrate in the landscape unconsciously. And his play showed "scene in emotion", that is, subjective emotional is the main features, create the image of the heroine, decipt the objective scene, which features the author's whole feeling color. In Tang's poetry, be it nature scene or social life description, it's both realistic detailed, and specific, building a new material world, its description is very objective, but his emotions often infiltrate into outer scene calmly, and is typical of "emotion in scene". The relationship between the scene and emotion in his opera is typical of "scene in emotion".Whether Huo Xiaoyu, Du Liniang,Lu Sheng, Chun Yufen, or Li Yi, Liu Mengmei, Yao Fang, their expressing emotion always has clear subjective color. the original face of objective scene was changed, has become their feeling's attachments. And services to demonstrate their feelings.
