It is increasing of studying on Grass, especially after his 1999 Nobel Prize for literature.There is an upsurge studying on Grass in the national,most studies focused on an overview research of the writer and his works,not making a complete exposition on Grass from the deep psychological level.In this dissertation,I will dissertate the double of Grass's and embodiment in his works from the perspective of the double consciousness in order to enrich the study of the glass.This article is divided into four sections.The first chapter is a depiction on the theory of double consciousness,and form an integrated system.This concept has undergone four variation phases,the spokesman are Emerson Du Bois and Paul Gilroy.With the spread of globalization in the world,the extension on the concept of "double consciousness" is still expanding,no longer limited to the scope of post-colonialism.The concept has formed an intricate actuality,which is mixed with the issues of political,economic,literary,philosophical,science and technology,geography and so on in varying degrees.The second chapter focused on dissertating the heroine's double-consciousness who creatived by.in the light on the consequence of "The Tin Tambour" in the creators of Grass.Oscar, who is the main character in "The Tin Tambour",is full of unspeakable charm.The double-consciousness is fully embodied on his mentality,in this chapter,I spent a whole chapter to describe the small children with The 'Tin Tambour' holded in his hand.I dissertate the dual awareness of freakish heroine with bends waist by the numbers on the point of three views from the psychological split-division of society-the culture of the to split.In addition to the Nobel Prize for literature masterpiece,shaped images filled of dual sense in his works.In the third chapter,the author made comment and description for the figures in his works,such as Mark,the dramatis personae of "Cat and Mouse",and Mattern,the dramatis personae of "dog years".The author immixed his own dual sense into these characters,so that they could speak for the author,reflect on the contradictions and struggles between in the heart of author.In the fourth chapter,I focused on the double sense of Grass,and looking for the reasons for the formation of double consciousness.
