According to investigations in local areas and acoustics tests, this paper discusses the instrumental groups, musical function and musical ritual rules of bell chimes, stone chimes and bronze chimes excavated in East Zhou period in Shandong Province. The national tunes including five tunes, six tunes and seven tunes existed in various kingdoms of East Zhou period. The cultures of music in these kingdoms were prosperous relatively. Every bell chimes has two pitches simultaneously. The manufacture of the instruments remains its own features throughout the history and its musical ritual rules dovetails into The Zhou Rituals.
