Chinese culture is one of the longest and most influential cultures in the world.China and Vietnam are linked by common mountains and rivers.Culture communication has a long history between them.As early as in Jun Xian times between Han and Tang Dynasty, the Han culture was spread in Vietnam while the Chinese developed Lingnan.The Han culture not only had a positive impact on Vietnam's society,economy and cultural progress, but also laid the finn foundation of the Han Culture spreading on in Vietnam.In 1427,Vietnam gained independence from China again after a short period of subordinating to Ming dynasty(1407-1427).The Vietnamese established the Later Le Dynasty(1427-1778).In the early stages of the Later Le Dynasty,Vietnamese economy was restoring gradually,culture was advancing,and the feudal political systems were perfecting.The social stabilized well.Vietnam maintained close relations of the suzerain-vassal of China.During 15th and 16th century,China was in the prosperity of Ming dynasty.In order to propagate national power and virtue,the Ming government organized great fleets travelling to the west countries across the west oceans seven times.It developed friendship with the other countries and promoted overseas trade business.As a vassal state of China,Vietnam paid tributes to Ming government actively.With the communication between the two countries,either the governmental communication such as tributary and the official trade or the non-governmental communication such as the overseas Chinese immigrating to Vietnam,smuggling,etc.,the two countries conducted extensive and in-depth communication.Under the backgrounds,the Chinese culture was spread widely in Vietnam.It had a far-reaching impact on the Vietnamese culture.The result of the dissemination and influence manifested in many aspects.For example,Chinese systems were transplanted in Vietnam.The Vietnamese accepted Confucianism and Literature.They imitated the method of studying history.Buddhism and Taoism were widely spread in Vietnam.They also learned science such as mathematics,medicine,printing and calendar etc.from China. Meanwhile,a Vietnamese called Nguyen An participated in the construction of the Forbidden City in Beijing.A man called Le Trung donated firearms producing skills,which contributed a lot to Chinese culture.In addition,a number of agricultural products imported from Vietnam,enriched Chinese goods and people's lives.The two countries made progresses in developing and proceeding through mutual communication.The culture communication between China and Vietnam of this period,not only had various depth influence on both countries,but also witnessed the friendship between them.
