In the15th century, China and European sea transport line linking that large numberof Chinese handicraft products began marketing Europe countries. Design exchanges betweenChinese and European with qualitative and quantitative changes in the unprecedentedsituation: China design began sinking into the European production of the pervasive, life,entertainment, art and many other fields.The European design also has some influence onthe Chinese handicrafts forms, materials, patterns and colors.From the dignitaries, downto the civilian population was involved in varying degrees, with which the effect of theChinese design began around the Europe, and it is of the15th-17th century designcommunication between China and Europe, thereafter flourished two centuries-old European“Chinoiserie” formation and the busiest contains germinal power. This essay focuses onresearching the Chinese design style spread in Europe under the drive of overseas trade,and also describe, conclude and summarize development of crafts and trade between Chinaand Europe in a certain era. In order to find the“Chinoiserie” the formation of the forceanalysis of the cultural exchange in the process of design, design style integration andre-creation, thereby deepening the understanding of design history and culture of China.
