The auther of the book He Guan-zi was considered to be He Guan-zi.It was first recorded by Han Shu.He Guan-zi has been collated by Liu Xiang and Lu Dian.The explanation of He Guan-zi which was wrote by Lu Dian spreaded widely.The existing version of He Guan-zi Including nineteen chapters which was from Bo Xuan to Wu Ling-wang.The best explanation of He Guan-zi was wrote by Huang Huai-xin who was a contemporary scholars.He Guan-zi was considered to be Chu people who lived in the end of Zhan Guo period.His disciple who named Pang Nuan became a general in Zhao Kingdom later.He Guan-zi was worried about his recommended so he lead a secluded life in the mountain.He has been a political advisor in Chu Kingdom probably.The main idea of He Guan-zi was Taoist thought,it also including Bing thought,Fa thought and Yin-yang thought.Its ideological origins originated from Taoist thought.It was affected by the idea of Lao-zi,Huang-di-si-jing and Guan-zi.Its main idea was the Dao-fa thought.It included three aspects:the relations between the universe and human-being,the method of governance and the method of specific matters.Yi-ren-fa-tian was the main thinking mode of He Guan-zi.People-oriented was its main principle of selection talents,Which had a more progressive and positive significance of the historical significance of the idea.It was very concerned about the time and the fate.Characteristics of dialectical thinking was the most important thinking mode of He Guan-zi.Compared with the other works of Pre-Qin period,He Guan-zi had a distinctive characteristics of the literature and language features.What's more,He Guan-zi had a unique concept on the using of language and literature.
