Analysis Zhang Quan The Art Of Singing

Zhang Quan is a modern vocal musician. Her perform style is unique, not only bears the popular characters of western techniques of singing but also preserves the essence of Chinese traditional vocal music in the aspects of enunciating, handling tunes and expressing emotions. Zhang Quan is a pioneer to nationalize bel canto through her mucic study experience and performance. She contribute a lot to the development of Chinese vocal music. This article discusses how Zhang Quan performs Chinese music work in use of western techniques of singing through researches on her work and study experience and analysis on two of her vocal music works.
