Yunlu Manchao is one of the significant historical recordings of anecdotes written by Zhao Yanwei in Song Dynasty, which records rich and important information. The book is valuable in the research of the politics, the economy, the society, the culture in Song Dynasty, and includes many new words and meanings at that times, and also contains some unique and original opinions by the author. Yunlu Manchao has an important value to research the development history of latter-day Chinese language.The dissertation is divided into three chapters.The 1st chapter is prologue, which briefly introduces the general situation of Yunlu Manchao, including the biography of Zhao Yanwei, and the content of the book, circulation of versions, present situation and value of the study, etc.The 2nd chapter is the main content of my article, introduces the content of this book. firstly, combing and analysising meticulously all items in the book, including many precious historical information and commentary from author, and selects some important items to thoroughly research. Secondly, make detailed study the exegetics materials of Zhao, from these, some are splendid, some have mistakes. This is the best important part in my article.The 3rd chapter is the reseach of glossary. Searchs, classifies and analyzes the different kinds of words in the book, then summarises the characteristic.In brief, the research Yunlu Manchao can discover and use its precious historical information, and also can enrich our knowledge of vocabulary through the research of Zhao. What important value and significance of studying this book.
