Li Yu-jie, a traditional intellectuals and modern religionist who experienced drastic changes in modern Chinese history, created a new philosophy system of religion which has a certain influence in Northwest China during the period of the republic of china and in today's Taiwan. Li Yu-jie's early philosophy of religion, inherited the essence of Chinese traditional culture, absorbed the advanced achievements of the West,and integrated them with innovation from a religious perspective, was created in the history conditions of disorder and crisis, it has typical features in many ways. By analyzing the historical background, the theoretical framework, the connotation and the features of Li Yu-jie's early religious philosophy, the auther tried to show its whole face, to show its basic features of integrating science, philosophy and religion in one on the basis of "Mind and matter are one unit of two sides"with the purport of "Unity of nature and man" in Chinese traditional culture. At the same time, the auther tried to analysis Li Yu-jie's answer to fundamental questions of religious philosophy, including methodology, epistemology and its option of God, Nature, the world, life and religion from a series of complex relationships, such as history and modernity, culture and beliefs, heritage and innovation, transcendence and secular, religion and culture, religion and society, religion and morality, religion and science, religion and philosophy, religion and history and so on. Also combed in this paper is a mount of links between Li Yu-jie's early religious philosophy and Chinese traditional culture. Combining the current reality, the auther analylized its inspiration and reference to the reconstruction of harmonious order in this current society, the outcome of traditional culture and modern religion.
