In order to further study the socio-economic environment of China before the Revolution of 1911, there was a newspaper called Shenbao, which could not be ignored. As the 1st business newspaper in China, Shenbao had great influence in the history of modern China. As one of the most influential newspapers in China, Shenbao acted well as a crucial pathway in the survey of China during 1910 with 1911, which was just before the Revolution of 1911. In the late Ching Dynasty, most of the developed western countries became to grab economic interests by trading and forcing into the domestic market of China. They showed great competence in most areas and industries. Under this circumstance, the most important action to take for local merchant of China was taking various measures to adapt this unique socio-economic environment. Then, improved and upgraded their own minds and technologies when coexisting with foreign merchants. And competing seriously with foreigner might be the next phrase, based on the former foundation. Advertisements on Shenbao made perfect and sufficient inflections to this special period of China. History is good for today's improvements and China should learn more and practice more in global trade to change our own image in the world.
