The rule-following paradox and related problems have been widely disputed. The issue was first put forward by Wittgenstein in his work "Philosophical Investigations", which has been a hot research topic about Wittgenstein for many years. A great number of scholars joined in the debate, which made "Kripke's Wittgenstein", KW for short, become a specialized term.Kripke looked upon Wittgenstein as a "skeptic" and considered that he posed a new "skeptical paradox" after Hume and gave a "skeptical solution". This essay attempts to understand and rethink the paradox Saul Kripke comes up with about the following of rule from a Humean point of view. There are a good many similarities between Kripke and Hume concerning an account of the nature of rules and rule-following as well as Wittgenstein and Hume. The community view, which is central to Kripke's solution, exemplifies a right approach to normativity. Kripke sees the language community as the key to the solution to the paradox and private language, holding that language practice and social convention are the only standard of whether to follow rules. The essay will not be particularly concerned whether Kripke's reconstruction of Wittgenstein's argument has done justice to Wittgenstein and not discuss the kind of critique of Kripke that says that Kripke's exegesis of Wittgenstein is simply wrong and say little about what may be a right interpretation of Wittgenstein.
