17 Years Novel "problem Woman"

This paper analyzes the image of problem women in the novels of Seventeen years (mainly are rural subject novels), attempts to excavate the distinguishing features of problem women always being neglected, in order to reconstruct the image of female figures and its significance of the times. The article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter mainly inquires into the problem women described in the text form, that is, their manifestations in the novels. It aims to show characteristics of these women and reveal the causes. The second chapter describes from the prevailing social and cultural point of view, and states through three levels that are the worldly desires, the transforming the narrative of the object, and the author's emotional reflections to reveal the connotation which they have. In the third chapter, this paper puts the women into re-reflection from the view of modern perspective, and reveals the value of its existence, and specially points out that the women with a new look appeared in the new times of local novels in large numbers, has become a new type of character, which is different of the conventional image of women in the social and cultural environment in the 1980s and 1990s.
