Court arts of china (mid-qing dynasty) & Rococo arts of France were both in the 18th century, when the European explores found the sea route to Asia, began the close exchange in culture & art. The two worlds kept on learning,affecting and penetrating with each others both in culture & art. Thus the two art types have many similar characters and comparable in time-background and aesthetic consciousness,as well as the history background. They both established their political powers on a powerful and prosperous country, who had already accumulated and possessed of great wealth. Those crown and dignitaries were indulged in a luxurious life,enjoying the flamboyance & splendid art,acvocating extravagant, complicated and delicate aesthetic consciousness The similarities of their aesthetic taste made a strong consistency between two art types.The east and the west were different in culture and social background and we can also found the their distinctions in aesthetic consciousness clearly, moreover ruler classes had different culture literacy & aesthetic tastes. Which caused the two art types had different looks and features, their court paintings were also different in types. Above all we can understand and inherit our native art, absorbing the essence of the western art by comparing the two art types,to create more rich and colourful culture and art.
