Chi Li and Fang Fang are two influencial female writers in contemporary literature of China, and both are representatives of so-called "the Han taste novel". Their works are usually based on the city of Wu Han, focus on the ordinary life of common people, for exploring the people's survival meaning. However, there exists many differences in their writing ideas, work styles and value orientations. The literary creation is such kind of activity with the writer's subject consciousness, the writer, as the subject of narration, plays the indispensable leading role in the text creation, controls the process of narration, consciously or unconsciously, and with the self-persistence to displays his/her value and significance of existence tenaciously. This thesis elaboraes on the differences and interfluves of two writers'literary creation, from the perspective of creation consciousmness and narrative standpoint.The whole thesis can be divided into five parts:The first part:Introduction.literary production is such kind of subject consciousness activity, in this process, with regard to life, the author's enthusiasm, feeling, experience, unique discovery; author's knowledge, personality, the personal status as well as the esthetic ideal, etc., all these aspects are penetrated in the creation process, thus affect the literary creation. For Chi Li and Fang Fang, the characters in their works are just their spokesmen in some sense, through the description of their life experience and depiction of characters, for the purpose of transmitting their thought and the outlook on life. Two writers'creation consciousnesses and narrative standpoints affect their literary creation subtly, their perspective of writing and role orientation have led to their differences and interfluves of literary creation directly or indirectly.The second part:explanation of two writers'annotation to love. With comprehensive survey of Chi Li's works, it is obviouly that the evolution process of Chi Li's love view:love pursuing, from not talking about love to the approval of secular love. On the other hand, Fang Fang, although, holds the thorough pessimistic manner to love, with attentively reading of her works, for her love view is obviously:regarding love, she still holds a kind of rigid belief and always perseveres the value and preciousness of love.The third part:comparation of two writers'descriptions of the residents'lives. Chi Li has affirmed the meaning of secular life in a world full of material desires, and also recognition and pursuing of secular happy life. Her works become popular with a great quantity of readers at the same time plainness because of deficient rational critique. On the contrary, Fang Fang'works, focused on the common resident's life, vividly dipicts a kind of morbid phenomenon which survives resorts to all means, with the employment of extreme and intense iron and scorn, as well as criticize, exposes the ugliness of society and the weakness of human nature.The fourth part:explanation of writers'manners to intellectual. What Chi Li's novel publicizes is one kind of survival philosophy, in the light of her recognition to secular life, those pride and arrogant, self-righteous intellectuals who lived in the ivory tower, naturally then becomes her object of mockery and ridicule. But Fang Fang describes the intellectual attentively with the real heart, with the background of Chinses historical space and time of the entire 20th century, demonstrated us life form and the destiny shape of Chinese intellectuals, linkage of intellectual image in her writings constituted an intellectual's life history, spiritual history.The fifth part:analysis on two writer's different value standpoints:residential standpoint and intellectual standpoint. Chi Li's "the urban petty bourgeois", she describes contemporary commom people's secular life by one kind of true equal point of view and with the angle of participant observation, through the description of their daily life's feeling, love and the life of good or bad fortune to display common people's-like indomitable spirit. But in her recognition to common people, she shows her love too generously and excessively constrained, in which she has neglected her critique to common people's incorrigbility, causes humanistic spirit in her work to be at one kind of attenuated condition. But Fang Fang was always insisting her own intellectual writing standpoint, writes for her own innermost feelings. She is carefully examining, resisting the trivialized real life day by day, persevering chaste and happy survival ideal. Her work is far away from the fashion and popular, is maintaining the certain distance with the reader throughou, but in pure literature circle, actually deeply are highly appreciative by experts.
