Essentially, recycled materials of public art is to achieve recycled materials for public art from views of environmental protection.It's one of properties of public art. Recycled material of public art is not only a research way of recycling economy with ecological, but also a point of view even forth public art design and provides a new perspective from the material.In the context of globalization, " Recycled materials of public art" is formed from the modern ecological concepts, environmental movement, and art experiments. It will change materials science with the art of dialogue between the lack of status, from the perspective of public art recycling of materials development and application of environmental design and make unique research. In this paper, the "recycled materials" mainly in the field of public art materials, and in the public art to study the scope and methods.Recycled materials include not only well-known natural renewable materials, including biodegradable materials and artificial life or industrial recycled materials, more renewable energy sources (such as solar, wind, etc.) into them, which greatly enriched the public art materials use areas, fully reflect the regional characteristics of public art and diversity.Discussion and Analysis of recycled materials in the development worldwide, as well as the difficulties encountered in our development and opportunities. Compared with traditional art materials, recycled materials, environmentally friendly, sustainable strong economic applicability and unique aesthetic features. Carried out through case comparative study of the experience at home and abroad, finding coming from the social attitudes, economic, technology constraints and other factors, to explore "the public art of recycled materials" in Chinese Public Art implementation and resource reuse way.
