This thesis is on the experience I gained in the study of Printmaking and the analysis of the forming process of my thoughts on my works. By reconsidering the whole process, I want to find a process in my art creation from the beginning of self-consciousness to the final return of myself. The thesis includes three parts:1. Marginalized Printmaking2. The Forming of the Thoughts on Printmaking3. Modes of Printmaking Thinkings and Self Art CreationsThe first part is a brief introduction on the history and present state of printmaking. Three questions include the relationship between printmaking and printed matter, "complicated" printmaking and "indirect" printmaking are analyzed to explore the real reasons of the seemly "marginalized" printmaking.Because of these reasons that may affect the development of printmaking, we form some kind of thinking habit in the study of printmaking. The second part is a detailed introduction on the premise of the forming of creation thoughts and three key points during the forming process including control force and logic, "slow" creation, and exploring and practice. In the third part of my thesis, I follow the thread that forming of creation thoughts will bring new possibilities in personal art making to discuss the relationship between printmaking creation thoughts and self-consciousness, and further analyze the importance of creation process of personal art making, focusing on the application process of creation thoughts.
