The genealogy of FuCha family in Manchu language,retaining the rich historyical and cultural information,is part of the history and culture heritage of the Manchu people.It is the important firsthand material in researching the history and culture of the Manchu ordinary soldiers of the eight banners.By studying the genealogy,further understanding on the Manchu ordinary people's history,culture and the social transition is made.Fistly, the formation of the genealogy and the FuCha family's history are researched.According to the genealogy's records and the historical information the holder offered, the history of the FuCha family moving from Ningguta to Aihui ,then Bukui,the change of the family's social status,and the filiation of the surname FuCha are carded.Secondly, the text of the genealogy is studied.The names written in Manchu characrers in the genealogy are the important language and character materials of the Manchu and translating it into the Han characters is the prerequisite for the further study .This is the basis on which the segmental changes of the names is divided .And analyzing the phonetic changes of the names and the reason of it is also based on it .In the meantime,the phenomenon that many people of the family having no son should be catched attention.Thirdly, the words used as the family's names in the genealogy are studied. The genealogy was written in the Manchu characters entirely and the Manchu characters are used in the family members's names, the verbal habits and morphology having its particularity .There are Jurchen's speech sounds left over the genealogy and the translateration from the Manchu characters into it of the Han nation.
