Save Lives - The Nietzsche Body Aesthetics Research

Since the Western civilization appeared, the body have been restricted by a rational framework for a long period of history. The soul and reason are both viewed as the superlative existence, but the desire of body is lied in the bottom. This conception had been continued until the late of 19th century, Nietzsche re-excavated the body and gave attention to the body so that the status of the body was raised. The body has an important historical station and an unique connotation in Nietzsche's thought. It has some significant differences with the body of traditional ideology. By analyzing traditional concept of the body and the critique and inheritance of Nietzsche to it, this paper explained the body of Nietzsche and analyzed the redemption of Nietzsche's body aesthetics to the life in two aspects. On the one hand, this paper firstly analyzed the meaning of drunk body and art to the flesh and life. Then this paper also studied the discovery and creation of artist's individual life state to the art and beauty. On the other hand, this paper analyzed the "Will to Power", that is the Nietzsche's "Will to Life" which is reformed by Dionysian spirit. Through it the body was released and returned to the reality and the art was generated. From then on, the aesthetic philosophy was revealed and the tenacious view of life was built up through the art. Nietzsche's body aesthetics tells us to prize the life and to value the sensible experience. It advocates aesthetic life attitude which can realize the life redemption.
