The theory of learning and acquiring by oneself place a key position in Baisha theory. There is no experience of acquisition at the heart, there is no formation of Baisha's Doctrine of Mind in neo-confucianism, and even no so-called Baisha's theory of learning and acquiring by oneself.Theory of learning and acquiring by oneself is the fullfillment of Baisha's real life. It has a process of formation and develoment. After the failure of imperial examination,Baisha went on the road of learning from Yubi Wu. However, due to his different abilities with his teacher, Baisha finally left without acquirement. In the cases of failure of imperial examination and learning from Yubi Wu, Baisha had to go on the road of self-study. However, this knowledge-based extensive reading did not give the right way to Baisha. On the contrary,Baisha got sick because of studing too hard. Baisha had to go on the road of "sitting quietly to culture goodness".Because of "sitting quietly to culture goodness",Baisha got some acquirement, and then,Baisha went on the road of Doctrine of Mind in neo-confucianism.Baisha experienced the anastomosis through sitting quietly to culture goodness. As a result, the direction of Baisha's learning methods shifted from the outside to the inner side. It affirmed the importance of human subjectivity. But at that time the theory of learning and acquiring by oneself did not mature. After that time Baisha immersed himself in the communication with nature and daily life. Sortting with nature made the theory of learning and acquiring had fragrance of fresh, and the cultivation of "Li" in the daily life made Baisha's theory of learning and acquiring by oneself had a sense of Doctrines of" Golden Mean".Baisha expressed himself was a Confucian clearly, and also admited that there has much to recommend in Duddihism and Daolism.Baisha's theory of learning and acquiring by oneself had a closely origin-relationship with Duddihism and Daolism. It developed the traditional subject spirit of Confucianism, and inherited the spirit of quiet which was praised highly from the Song Dynasty. "Learning and acquiring by oneself" mainly absorbed the Daolism's theory of nature and quiet, and absorbed the Duddihism's theory of experienced instinctly and style of expression.Baisha was the founder of Doctrine of Mind in neo-confucianism in Ming Dynasty, and Yangming Wang was the synthesizer of Doctrine of Mind in neo-confucianism in Ming Dynasty. There was some similar academic areas between Baisha and Yangming, for example, the generant process of academic, the coming up with "Heart Is Li"and the morality consciousness. But there were more difference. This was mainly concentrated in two main issues, one was the relationship between heart and "Li",the other was the performance approach. Though the comparison of Baisha and Yangming's theory,we can find that the features of this two philosophers' theory more clearly, which was the same to the whole of venation of Doctrine of Mind in neo-confucianism in Ming Dynasty...
