Special Period Of Xin'anjiang Reservoir Immigrants (1956-1970)

The Xin'anjiang reservoir, known as Qiandao Lake, whose construction was launched in 1958, produced the first major reservoir emigrants in PRC, about 280,000 was in Chun'an county. Some unexpected cases began to emerge; such as constant conflicts between emigrants and local inhabitants, and some emigrants even began to return to their villages.
