A certain number of fictions occurred in the literary arena after 1990's. The distinguishing feature of these fictions is that they all have the narrative mode of the love stories between eastern females and western males. And most authors of these fictions are females. According to the different peculiarities and creation backgrounds, these works can be divided into two parts. One is the texts produced by the female writers in Mainland China, taking the novel/ love Bill written by the famous writer Wang Anyi as the representative The stories in these works are all take place in Shanghai which is known as the metropolis in China all over the world. The second part is those works created by the new immigrant writers famously known as Yan Geling and Hong Ying. The reason I consider these tow parts as one integer is that they all use the same narrative pattern without previous arrangement. At the same time, compared with the early immigrant, the spirit of the new immigrant writers is still attached to the Mainland China. The structure:west/male-east/female indicates the position China has been in as a third country. Through these texts and the social and culture environments where they were produced, we could get a general idea of what Chinese writers and scholars thought and considered when involved in the globalization. In the references I already have,/ love bill aroused much more concern than other fictions, meanwhile Shanghai Baby became a heated topic for its special sense in the new era. Citing what Wang Anyi herself said,/ love bill is a story of "a girl's self-devastation during the approaching to the west on both her body and spirit." actually "it's a symbol of the situation of the third country in the modern world and has nothing to do with whether love or sex." The early research of this fiction always focused on feminism and tragedy consciousness. But in recent years, some researchers analyze the text with imagologie, investigate the exotic image, exotic people, exotic culture, and both the adoption and conflict when facing to the foreign culture. The Shanghai baby is famous for its exhibition of desire and body writing. It has painted a portrait of China's New Generation as refined, carefree and western-oriented. In the morally ambivalent environment where they exist, they are easy but decisive. Shanghai Baby is polarized, a product of post-colonialism, decadent yet practical-minded, and nihilistic to the core. The studying of oversea literature arouses lots of concern in recent years. One of these writers, Lu Hong, is also a doctor candidate in college of humanities. Through her own immigrant experience, she did researches focusing on cognitive identity and searching for a new cultural identity. A kind of cross-culture conscious awareness can be found in their literary works. How to get over the discrimination and the infatuation of "exotic" will be a significant part of the analysis.
