Liu Dehai Pipa Techniques Of Innovation. "spring Silkworms" For Example

In modern times, Pipa has developed into many art schools, such as Chongming group, Pinghu group, Pudong group etc. The choosing of timbre and the application of skill language show directly their own unique aesthetic appreciation in music. In the book "Journey", Liu Dehai referred that 'the variety of sound is definitely a technique innovation to improve its artistic appeal, which is an innovation of Dehai's aesthetic concept in essence.'Liu Dehai and other Pipa players show the audience their feelings for music from deep inside and their pursuing for aesthetics through this specific sound effect exactly. "Chun Can" is one of the representative works in 'Life', which reflects the characteristic of Liu Dehai's Works through the abundant skills and the timbre changes. This paper takes a look at Liu Dehai's art practice which based on tradition while pursing innovation at the same time through the analysis of skill innovation in'Chun Can', such as using rigid full-hand to play, playing in right and reverse side and the integration of playing weakly, sweep picking, finger shaking, strings sound and nut sound etc, and takes it as an example to analyze and research on Liu Dehai's skill innovation, namely:continuity innovation, extension innovation, combination innovation, reference innovation and originality innovation. Furthermore, this paper gives example of the derivation and extension of these four types of innovation skill. Therefore, this type of skill can be seen clearly in relevant music in varied usage.This paper is composed of introduction, main body and conclusion. The first part introduces the art stage and innovation of Liu Dehai in a macro way; the main body is divided into three chapters:the first chapter generally narrates the art style of 'Chun Can', which mainly on the theme choosing of "Chun Can" and the analysis of music structure; the second chapter elaborates the types of the skill innovation used in "Chun Can", which is divided into four sections:the first section talks about the continuity innovation, the second section discusses extension and combination innovation, the third section presents reference innovation and the fourth section is about originality innovation. The third chapter takes a quick look at Liu Dehai's Pipa skill from "Chun Can", which is divided into two sections:the first section amplifies the timbre value in skill innovation; the second section elaborates skill innovation's value for Pipa music creation. In the conclusion part, this paper taking "Chun Can" as an example refines Liu Dehai's skill innovation and the application of innovation idea and achievements.
