Take a general view of Taiwan's modern glove puppet show, the first element to attract spectators is it's gorgeous,chic, creative plastic arts which intergrated with traditional & modern styles. Chosen its plastic arts as the breakthrough point, the thesis will introduce & study the Taiwan puppet show by 3 main parts. The Part I introduces its concept definition, history evaluation & principal genres; the Part II focus on the special feathure of taiwan puppet show's plastic arts, which includings 7 points as following: 1, the local classification of puppets;2, reform & exploit of Chinese traditional art elements; 3, the influence of manufacture & material have on puppets'feature; 4, how the modern elements affects its feature; 5&6, a brief idea about design of puppets'accessories & scene properties, as well as the industial producing of puppet toys; the last point will show the influence on puppets'plastic art since it was put on TV. Part III hopes to talk over the puppet design from creation part, to study the evolution of it's plastic arts could bring lots inspirations to mainland ACG creators, for exemple, the intergration of 20% traditionlity & 80% of modernity; moreover, how to attract more spectators by using new technology to express traditional arts. The continuously come out with new idea and develop new technology are significant cause for an arts to keep it's vitality for ever.
