Hebei Changli Folk Singing Style Study

The dissertation is based on the country research and summary. The research object is the original folk song of Changli county HeiBei province. The direction of the research is to master Changli folk song's unique style of singing.Changli county is lying on the north China with long history. The native people's culture and art activities are recorded in details from the early stage of the Qing dynasty. Changli folk song is a part of the east of HeiBei's folk song, it is born with fresh, elegant and simple style. It was great popular in the people who were living in mountains, plains and coasts of the whole Changli county. Nowadays, with the development of the Chinese society, Changli's culture activities are more prosperous, its folk song plays an important role in China. Folk song becomes Changli's name card in HeiBei province.Changli's accent is unique:the tone rising and falling with rhythm and it is called "Lao Har". Changli folk songs inherit the accent's rising and falling and become the lovely melodies. In years of singing experiences, the arts of Changli summaried a lot of method. Furthermore, they fulfill some unique Run-cavity skills. There are many native arts of Changli who were participated in nation's performances and song collection job-. They made a great achievement for Changli's native arts.The dissertation are made of three parts besides the introduction part and summary part. It expresses and studies changli folk song in several different views step by step.Part one, it introduces Changli folk song's general situations:region, people, time, performance, catalog lf songs and inheritance.Part two, it describes the characters of singing. The key features are Changli's accent, singing skills and the nine skills of Run-cavity. Part three, it discuss the combination and development of Changli folk song and nation's vocal music. In this part, several classic Changli folk songs are analyzed in order to make singer get the first hand materials for Changli folk songs in details. Then, it discusses in two angles:Changli folk song's contribution for the nation vocal music and the development of Changli folk song.The writer analyzed the Changli folk song in researcher's view and singer's view separately. The writer interviewed the elder arts, collected the material in books, cassettes, etc. Fortunately, the writer had a chance to learn singing the Changli folk song from the famous art-WangShijie.Based on all the experiences referred above, the wirter described Changli folk song's general and nowadays situation, analyzed its characters, singing skills and Run-cavity features horizontally. Therefore, Changli folk song not only has the great art value, but also has the humanity and society research value. The dissertation take the culture as the foundation, analyzed the utilities of singing Chanli folk song in singer's view. It reminds the people to inherit the folk arts, to protect the traditional culture and carry on the spirit of the nation by considering the development of Chang li folk song.
