| During the development of Erhu, Qin Erhu, a school of Chinese Erhu, is featured with local music style. Mr. Jin Wei, as a successor of Qin Erhu, whose stage performance, musical composition and research has made great important influence on Erhu study. With his strong Shaanxi local music style and distinctive characteristics of individual performance, Mr. Jin has become one of the contemporary famous erhu players, and has devoted to helping drive the overall development of Qin Erhu. Supported with his Erhu theory and musical creation, centered with stage performance, Mr.Jin's versatile talents are rare among contemporary Erhu players. This paper will give in-depth analysis from these three aspects trying to explicit his outstanding contributions to Qin Erhu. |
