The research of domestic scholars on Deng Xiaoping began after the 13th national congress of the party generalized the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics; and after the 15th national congress of the party put forward Deng Xiaoping theory, the research raised efficiency. Most abroad scholars who based on'pragmatism'position and capitalism background, think that Deng Xiaoping philosophical thoughts'general characteristics had'practicality' most domestic scholars from'practice'philosophy of localization and socialist background to Deng Xiaoping's philosophy, adhere to the limitation that the overall features of "practical".
