Resolve The Conflict Of Muslim Immigrants And French Society

In 2005, there was a big riot across France caused by muslim immigrants who accidentally were electrocuted. It had multiple factors behind this riot. This article analyzed the main reasons of the conflict from angle of economy, history, religious culture, politics, media: high unemployment rates, poor life, old enmities that caused by the Crusades before several centuries and the colonization of Algeria by France and new hates caused by misunderstanding and discrimination of the French society now, immigration as a political election tool, media distortion and adding fuel to the flames, all of factors lead to national riots. This paper also makes a further discussion on " Eurabia " which is a myth and the realistic confusion felt by young generation of Muslim immigrants. The viewpoint of this article is only to improve the economic condition and eliminate misunderstanding of Islamic culture and correct behaviors of discrimination to muslim immigrants and implement multicultural policies, muslim immigrants can integrate into the French society harmoniously.This paper is guided by contradictory method of dialectical materialism and applied with documents analysis as operational method. At the same time, sociology, politics, religion and other related knowledge is employed in this paper. In addition, a number of examples are cited to analyze the reasons of Paris riot.
