With the construction of our faith community, our country's credit system has been more attention; the local government has also increased the construction of local credit system. At the same time, the range of personal credit information is showing an expanding trend. It caused a public hot discussion. However, the uniform credit legislation has not been built yet in China, so what kind information can be collected by credit bureaus is not quite same in different local regulation. Because the personal credit information may contain some privacy information, if the credit bureaus can collect every kind of credit information without any restrictions, it will lead to a serious violation of civil rights. Therefore, whether the definition of personal credit information should be limited is worth to be discussing.This article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, a brief description of the purposes of this article, the current research status and the research methods and practical significance; the second chapter analyzes the situation of credit legislation and practice in our country, especially to the existing local regulations and refined out of the existing regulations on the definition of the scope of personal credit information. At the same time, the writer also pointed out that China's legislation on the personal credit information is quite inadequate; the third chapter analyzes the difficulties of the expansion the scope of credit information collection should be faced, including the lack of personal information protection, the inequality trading position, the accuracy of information, the lack of information-sharing system and other aspects; the fourth section is a brief description of the foreign legislation and practice on credit collection; the fifth chapter, the writer put forward several recommendations on how to perfect the personal credit information collection; the last chapter summarizes the writer's point, that should be appropriate restrictions on the scope of credit information collection.China's credit industry is still in its infancy stage, so the study of this system; especially in the range of personal credit information is not so much. The paper is on this topic, with high innovative and practical significance. This paper not only analyzes the current situation of the credit legislation, but also on the current practice. At the same time, the relevant legislation and practice abroad is also concluded, for reference. However, any improvement of system should pay more attention based on their national conditions. The writer put this idea through the article and brings up the more suitable improve views for China.
