Case And Experience: National Reconciliation Efforts Of The Truth And Reconciliation Commission

With the "deepening the theme of the times of peace and development", people increasingly feel the importance of peaceful international environment for domestic, domestic political, economic and social development, more and more countries are beginning to use developing eyes, face up to history, justice, open new journey and to seek national reconciliation, especially in twentieth Century after 80 years, more and more countries and regions begin to seek solution to ethnic conflicts, disarming the road to reconciliation. The domain of national politics "national reconciliation" with its non violent, consultation, seeking the coexistence and development advantage into people’s social life, truth, uphold the principle of "truth" and "justice" and Reconciliation Commission have appeared in many countries, national reconciliation and the moral value and the strength is also more and more win support among the people.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part mainly outlines the truth and reconciliation commission. From twentieth Century since 80 time, the philosophy and practice of national reconciliation has gradually become an important route in the field of national political commitment to resolve the ethnic disputes and conflicts. National reconciliation has become a phenomenon of national political life, the truth and Reconciliation Commission have appeared in many countries:South Africa, Rwanda from Africa, Sierra Leone, Sultan, Ivory Coast, Brazil, Argentina until America Canada, Chile, Peru, Salvatore, Panama, Columbia etc. and then to Asia and Europe, Thailand, Burma, South Korea East Timor, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Thailand, on the truth and Reconciliation Commission conducted a brief comparative analysis, thus, can basically understand the different types of national reconciliation, reconciliation process and development, different reconciliation practice the dominant force target and reconciliation, different national reconciliation performance, these national reconciliation practice case help to understand and study the national reconciliation theory and deep connotation of value, to a certain extent in the study of the construction of idea and practice provides an important reference for our study on national reconciliation.The second part introduced this article selected several theme-mainly from more than 20 of the truth and reconciliation commission representative in the truth and Reconciliation Commission:South Africa, Rwanda, Salvatore, Columbia’s truth and Reconciliation Commission, shown to make a case for the committee, including:overview of the background of the establishment, evaluation and Revelation from the case, these basically covers the types of reconciliation and national reconciliation of the existing.The third part is the truth and Reconciliation Commission to the Greek countries also helps us to analyze and summarize the restricting factors in different conditions of successful experience of national reconciliation and reconciliation failed, based on overall grasp the different Reconciliation Commission type, can let the subject of national reconciliation reconciliation mode and path choice more reconciliation utility.The truth and Reconciliation Commission is to uphold the principle of "reconciliation mechanism of truth" and "reconciliation" moral strength, suggesting that only meet the forgiveness and repentance era moral value political settlement pattern is addressing racial atrocities and ethnic conflict, a new way to realize national reconciliation.The spirit and the practice path of reconciliation has become an important basis for people to resolve contradictions and disputes. Domestic and inter ethnic national reconciliation is the political consultation, more is the process of social cooperation, true reconciliation is need to be embodied in the different ethnic groups are normal and orderly social life.National reconciliation is the different ethnic groups in future oriented, the vision of a better future life, to establish the internal multi nationality country and ethnic equality and friendly world, the effective mechanism of harmony and common development, is an important political choice strategy to resolve the inter ethnic conflict, ethnic relationships tend to improve and restore the value connotation of strategy is an important reflection of conflict behavior the past and the elimination of hostility, bridging the ethnic injury. The idea and practice of national reconciliation has the important enlightenment significance and reference value to effectively handle national relations.
