An Analysis Of The Mode Of Citizen 's Moral Construction In China

Civic morality construction is an important part of socialist construction. 《Program for Improving Civic Morality》took place in 2001, highlighting the importance of civic ethics.To strengthen civic morality construction, proposed by the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party, requires combine the rule of law with the rule of virtue, which will put civic morality construction into prime agenda. The issues confronting us are adapting to the new form, approaching to find new ways, improving and strengthening civic morality construction based on current new problems and new situation of our society.Civic morality construction mode is a specific methodology system which put civic morality construction theory into practice and is a reference paradigm of organizing and implementing civic morality activities. Faced with the current plight of civic morality construction, we must emphasize main consciousness of individual citizens, stimulated moral needs of citizens based on full play the country’s leading role, thus can improve the effectiveness of civic morality construction.In this paper, I chose “the model of Chinese civic morality construction” as the theme. First of all, I systematically explained the meaning of “the model of Chinese civic morality construction”. Moreover, I proposed a new model of civic morality construction, namely, “the guide-conscious” model, and demonstrated reasonable reason why I chose this model according to analyzing the traditional Chinese civic morality construction and its underlying problem. Last but not least, I deeply thought and explored how to use and practice the “guide-conscious” model in the process of civic morality construction. It can be divided into two parts: on the one hand, in general, to strengthen the guidance of civic morality construction, such as attaching importance to and strengthening civic morality construction specific to the Party Committees at all levels, playing an exemplary role, creating a favorable social atmosphere of civic morality construction, providing legal support and policy support for civic morality construction. On the other hand, in general, to improve the consciousness of civic morality construction, such as playing an important role in civil self-moral education, inspiring the moral needs of civil, etc.
