The minority separation of Malays in south Thailand has been a big problem Since the beginning of the 20 th century.Scholars have studied all kinds of reasons that lead to people in south Thailand secede from Thai. People often use“Social identity theory”to analysis minority separation problem.Most people believe that it is government‘s policy cause south Thai Malays want to secede from Thai.Professor Chen’s”economy and culture theory” is popular too.This article choose the period between 1930s-1960 s as an example to use social dynamics theory to analysis the south Thai’s Malays separation problem. The result is that,it is Thai government’s discriminatory policy neglect south Thai Malays’ basic psychological needs that lead them dissatisfy with their situation to fight against Thai government.Social elites have plaid a very important role in the war between south Thailand Malays and Thai government.
