In our country real life, marriage phenomenon is still widespread, especially in the vast rural areas, engagement has become a habit before marriage. In many places in the country, the act of marriage, which has not been set up, is considered to be a violation of the rules. Phenomenon associated with betrothal is betrothal gifts. Giving betrothal gifts before and afterbetrothal has become the prevailing custom recognized by the masses. However, entered into a marriage, pay the bride price, does not mean that the two sides in the future will be married. Once they get married not, often because of the dissolution of a marriage and financial return of disputes. How to handle the betrothal gifts disputes, current marriage law does not clearly defined. Therefore, the author through the engagement of a property dispute in-depth analysis, some legal problems of the marriage of property disputes related to carry on the elaboration, in order to be able to trigger a more in-depth discussion. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction part, mainly on the background and significance of this thesis, the domestic and foreign research status of the engagement property disputes and the research methods of this paper. In the second part, the author mainly introduces the concept and theory of the concept and theory of engagement. The third part is about the status quo of the engagement system in our country, mainly on the development of the engagement system, the reality of our country, and the existing system of engagement system in modern society, some of the characteristics of a detailed exposition. The fourth part is about the analysis of the real dilemma in judicial practice, which is caused by the property disputes and disputes in the process of dealing with these disputes. Mainly to the present situation in our country some of the property disputes caused by the dissolution of engagement, and on the basis of the analysis of the difficulties in the process of dealing with these disputes. The fifth part is about the domestic and foreign countries in the domestic and foreign countries in the process of dealing with the marriage property disputes related to the analysis of the system of our country’s engagement property disputes. In the last part, the author from two aspects of entity and procedure law of our country marriage and property disputes legal regulation put forward some own opinions, in order to help solve the marriage and property disputes.
