Legal Protection Mode Of Personal Information In Internet

In the Internet age, the value of information contained increasingly becomes the object of various social subjects, followed by the act of infringement of personal information being more and more diversified. However, the personal information protection in China lacks a scientific and perfect mode, in order to strengthen the personal information protection,this paper puts forward the protection mode that legal regulation is the leading factor, industry self-discipline is complementary and set up a special personal information institution.In this paper, first of all, we describe the concept and characteristic of personal information and compare with the related concept, and sum up the infringement of personal information under the network era. Next we analyze the problem of present information protection situation in China and compare the two representative outside personal information protection mode, namely the legal regulation of dominant mode and the industry self-discipline mode. Finally by combining China’s national conditions, we design the protection mode that legal regulation is the leading factor, industry self-discipline is complementary and set up a special personal information institution, and put forward some concrete measures, including setting the personal information protection act, strengthening the self-discipline management of the internet industry association,setting up a special personal information regulator and so on, hoping to make the citizen’s personal information under the network era been fully effective protected.
