"Google Spain SL Google Inc. v Agencia Espa?ola de Protección de Datos(AEPD)" on May 13, 2014 in European Court to losing Google ended. Thus, the right to be forgotten is supported by the European Court of justice, also marks, in the era of big data, the EU is constantly strengthening the protection of the rights of personal data. Europe is the birth right to be forgotten and birthplace. The right to be forgotten by the proposed attention of all countries in the world, many experts and scholars have to look to the EU’s right to be forgotten research, on the analysis of the existing necessity also consider whether can in its introduction of the right to be forgotten.This article mainly from the "Google Spain SL Google Inc. v Agencia Espa?ola de Protección de Datos(AEPD)" to start, leads to "the right to be forgotten". In the second part, the origin of the right to be forgotten is analyzed, the concept and content of the right to be forgotten is analyzed, and the right attribute of the right is established. The third part of the European Union, the United States in the "right to be forgotten" field experience in legislation, and of the European Union, the United States the relevant legislation experience and lessons to make analysis and summary, in order to make to pave the way for China’s right to be forgotten is presented and the personal information protection law perfect.Finally, return to China from the international perspective. More and more serious in recent years, China’s social networking and other new media rapid development, personal information is any leakage, illegal collection, wanton abuse, coupled with China in terms of the personal information protection and information security is no clear legislative provisions, so the introduction of the right to be forgotten is urgency and necessity. The fourth part and the fifth part, through analyzing the challenges and problems faced by our country’s personal information protection, this part discusses the legislative suggestions on the localization of the right to be forgotten in our country.
