Research On Community Correction Of Juvenile Delinquents

Juvenile crime has been paid more and more attention all over the world,because minors is the future hope of a country. The healthy growth of the minors remains a key role not only in maintaining social stability, but also in promoting the harmonious and happiness of the family. But in recent years, juvenile crime continually rises. It is a common issue of the whole society that bring illegal minors back to mainstream of social values by the education management of community correction. Compared with imprisonment correction, Juvenile community correction is a kind of law execution way of which the correcting effect is better and more appropriate for minors. Juvenile community correction means that the juvenile criminals will conform to the statutory conditions in their daily life within their community. The criminal psychology and behavior of juveniles are corrected by the specialized state organs in the related departments, social organizations and volunteers, which is a low cost way of executing that to make the criminal juveniles get rid of bad habits, correct values, and return to the normal social life in the time limit of the court’s decision. It is an education and punishment non-confinement penalty types, which sets the individual, humanity and society into a unity.Juvenile community correction has some advantages in humanization, saving judicial resources, overcoming the "cross infection"ect. While it remains a restriction in practice, in fact solving the exposed problems in practice can get crime minors better return to society. This paper is based on the actual correction work of juvenile community in the area. By combining the current status of community correction in our country since 2003, we find out the problems that exist in the actual work of community correction and analyze the reasons of these problems. Some feasible countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to solve the problems, which is important to improve the quality of juvenile community correction work in the area A of YinChuan, and to the maintenance of local society harmonious and stable development. The community correction work in NingXia started later than other provinces, thus the community construction is far from perfect. So systematic study of the problems in juvenile community correction has a great of significance to improve the quality of the community correction of NingXia.
